Monaca has begun supporting Cordova Android 12.0.1.&#x20;

The release of Cordova Android 12.0.1 has fixed issues with adaptive icons.&#x20;

## August 28, 2023&#x20;

### Release of Barcode Scanner Plugin 1.3.0&#x20;

We have resolved an issue where the plugin did not work on Sharp's Android smartphone, AQUOS, and confirmed its operation on AQUOS sense7. We have also improved the plugin to correctly handle cases where the image width and the 'rowStride' of the plane buffer differ.&#x20;

### Support for Xcode 14.2.0 Started&#x20;

We have begun supporting Xcode 14.2.0, available for the latest projects (Cordova 11).&#x20;

Please note that the simulator build only supports ARM architecture, and builds for unsupported architectures are not possible.

### Discontinuation of iOS Store Version Monaca Debugger and Alternative Functionality Guidance

Due to updates and changes in interpretation of Apple's guidelines, the iOS Store version of the Monaca Debugger will be discontinued on the Apple Store starting January 6, 2023.&#x20;

Added sorting functionality to the dashboard project list. Now you can sort by created time, last accessed time and project title.

Released project recovery feature. This allows the user to repair the project if something is going wrong. To access the feature, open the project menu in dashboard, and click **Recover** button under the **Configure** tab.

Released new Monaca CLI and Localkit, along with the updates to Monaca Cloud IDE. This is a major change to how Monaca serves and builds the project. Your project will be also affected.
